How Hepexa M Tablet works

Hepexa M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and ursodeoxycholic acid which treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Metformin is a biguanide which works by decreasing the production of glucose in the liver, increasing insulin sensitivity, and improving liver blood flow. Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is a naturally occurring bile acid which protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.
