Uses

Halobetasol (topical) is used in the treatment of allergic disorders.

How it works

Halobetasol (topical) belongs to the class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It acts by stopping the release of certain natural substances in body that are responsible for pain and swelling.

Common side effects

Skin thinning, Contact dermatitis.
Salicylic Acid(3% w/w)

Salicylic Acid is used in the treatment of psoriasis, keratoses (abnormal skin growth) and dermatitis.

How it works

Salicylic acid belongs to a class of medication called keratolytics. It works on reducing swelling and redness and thus causing pimples to shrink. It also loosens and softens the dry, scaly skin thus causing it to peel off.
