Gud m plus tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Doxylamine(10 mg)

Uses

Doxylamine is used in the treatment of morning sickness (nausea and vomiting in pregnancy) and allergic disorders.

How it works

Doxylamine belongs to a class of drugs called as antihistaminic. It acts by blocking the effects of the mainly chemical histamine and few others in the body, which are responsible for the symptoms of allergies, cold and morning sickness. It also causes drowziness and helps in falling a sleep.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies.

How it works

Vitamin B6, principally in its biologically active coenzyme form pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, is involved in a wide range of biochemical reactions, including the metabolism of amino acids and glycogen, the synthesis of nucleic acids, hemogloblin, sphingomyelin and other sphingolipids, and the synthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
