It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Greatcef 1000 mg injection at a fixed time.
Greatcef 1000 mg injection may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Greatcef 1000 mg injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.

Cefpodoxime(1000 mg)


Greatcef 1000 mg injection is a cephalosporin antiboitic with similar structure as that of penicillin. It is used in the treatment of certain  bacterial infections in the body like urinary tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (gonorrhea), lung infection (pneumonia), kidney infection (pyelonephritis), sinusitis, skin or soft tissue Infection, inflammation of tonsils (tonsillitis), sore throat (pharyngitis), and upper respiratory tract infection.

How it works

It works by interfering with the formation of the outer covering (cell wall) of bacteria so that the wall ruptures and results in the death of the bacteria.
