Benzocaine(20% w/v)


Benzocaine is used to treat itching and irritation from conditions like insect bites, nettle stings, cuts and scrapes, skin chafe and external vaginal and anal itching. It is also used for treating pain and itching due to certain ear infections.

How it works

Benzocaine is an ester type local anesthetic which works by anesthetizing the sensory nerves under skin surface, thereby reducing the inflammatory sensation and reducing an urge to itch.
