It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Furoped 10 mg syrup at a fixed time.
Taking Furosemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
UNSAFE
Furoped 10 mg syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Furosemide(10 mg)

Uses

Furoped 10 mg syrup is used in the treatment of fluid retention (edema), heart failure, increased blood pressure (BP) and hypercalcemia (increased calcium levels in blood).

How it works

Furoped 10 mg syrup lowers swelling by increasing the amount of urine, which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body.

Common side effects

Frequent urge to urinate, Jaundice, Abnormal liver function tests, Acne-like rash, Allergic reaction, Itching, Blisters on skin, Blurred vision, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Difficulty in swallowing, Shortness of breath, Headache, Hearing loss, Ringing in ear, Urticaria, Fever
