It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Frusenex 40 mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking Furosemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
UNSAFE
Frusenex 40 mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Uses

Frusenex 40 mg tablet is used in the treatment of fluid retention (edema), heart failure, increased blood pressure and hypercalcemia (increased calcium levels in blood)

How it works

Frusenex 40 mg tablet lowers swelling by removing the levels of excess water and electrolytes in the body.
