Antidepressants are not supposed to be taken sometimes, they need to be continued regularly for adequate effect. It's better that you follow your doctor's advise and take antidepressants regularly to deal with your anxiety. It takes 2-6 weeks for antidepressants to take an effect, in the mean time, you will be prescribed anxiolytic. Donot take Ativan without prescription.
