How to use FINE TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Fine 5mg tablet at a fixed time.

How FINE TABLET works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Fine 5mg tablet works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.

  • Flunarizine should be taken at night-time before going to bed.
  • You may have to wait for 8 to 12 weeks to get the full effect.
  • Caution is advised in elderly patients, as it may cause depressive and extrapyramidal symptoms.
  • Do not take alcohol or sleep inducing medicine along with Flunarizine.
  • Flunarizine tablet contains lactose monohydrate. You should not take it if you have galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
