How to use Fenovas Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Fenovas Tablet works

Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood, while atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking alcohol with Rosuvastatin increases the chances of liver dysfunction.
Pregnancy
CAUTION
Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
SAFE
Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Fenovas 160 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
