Felodipine(5 mg)


Felogard 5 mg tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent or reduce the frequency of angina (chest pain due to reduced blood supply to heart).

How it works

Felogard 5 mg tablet belongs to a group of medications called calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering the blood pressure. Felogard 5 mg tablet also helps in supplying more blood to heart muscle, lowering the chance of angina.

  • Take special care while taking felodipine if you have low blood pressure with abnormal heartbeats, poorly functioning left ventricle, liver problems, have intolerance to some sugars, acute porphyria (a rare blood pigment disorder that affects skin, liver and other organs).
