Clindamycin is used to treat certain bacterial infections including infections of the lungs, skin, blood, female reproductive organs, and internal organs. 

How it works

Clindamycin belongs to class of medications called lincosamide antibiotics. Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth.

Common side effects

Vomiting, Nausea, Joint pain, Difficulty in swallowing, Heartburn, Vaginal discharge, Vaginal irritation, Vaginal swelling, Vaginal itching, White spots in the mouth, White patches on the tongue, White spots in the throat


Nicotinamide is used to treat vitamin B3 deficiency and inflammatory skin diseases like acne and pellagra.

How it works

Nicotinamide is an amide form of nicotinic acid. Nicotinamide is a component of two coenzymes, which help in tissue respiration and metabolism of  lipids, amino acids, proteins, and purines. Nicotinamide lowers blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels by inhibiting the synthesis of very low density lipoproteins.
