It is better to take Estocin 5mg eye ointment empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).
Taking Erthromycin with alcohol may cause minor drug interactions which may not be clinically relevant in all patients.
Estocin 5mg eye ointment is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Either animal studies have shown no adverse effect on the fetus, but there is no human studies or animal studies have shown an adverse effect that was not confirmed in human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Estocin 5mg eye ointment is used to treat ear, nose, throat, chest, skin and soft tissue infections (acne, tooth infection), and sexually transmitted disease (like syphilis).

How it works

Estocin 5mg eye ointment belongs to class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. Estocin 5mg eye ointment inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the bacterial growth or sometimes killing sensitive bacteria.
