Common

Side Effects of Envas AM are Decreased blood pressure, Sleepiness, Taste change, Ankle swelling, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Tiredness, Palpitations, Increased potassium level in blood, Cough, Stomach upset.

How to use Envas AM Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Envas AM Tablet works

ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and enalapril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function test, and potassium levels is recommended while you are taking this medicine.
Liver
CAUTION
ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of ENVAS AM 5 MG/5 MG TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you experience fatigue, develop yellowing of the skin and eyes or white stools while taking this medicine.
