Doxycycline(100 mg)


Doxycycline is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as chest, lung or nose infections, infections of the kidneys and bladder infections of the skin such as acne, eye infection, sexually transmitted diseases (e.g. gonorrhoea, syphilis, chlamydia), It is also used to prevent malaria.

How it works

Doxycycline belongs to class of medications called tetracycline antibiotics. It stops the production of proteins in bacteria and prevents growth of bacteria.

Serratiopeptidase is used in treatment of conditions associated with pain and inflammation associated with muscles, bones and joints, pulsating headaches, often on one side of the head (migraine), inflammation of the air cavities around nose (sinusitis), inflammation of larynx (laryngitis), sore throat, ear infections, swelling after surgery, inflammation of a vein caused by a blood clot (thrombophlebitis), diseases that cause inflammation and sores (ulcer) in the lining of the gut (Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease).

How it works

Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that acts by breaking down the chemical mediators that are involved in causing pain and inflammation, thereby reducing the pain and inflammation.

  • Take doxycycline with food to prevent stomach discomfort.
  • If you are taking birth control pills, take additional contraceptive measure while taking doxycycline and till 7 days after stopping doxycycline.
