Minoxidil(5 mg)

Dilminox 5 mg tablet is used orally for the treatment of high blood pressure, in combination with other anti-hypertensive drugs. It is also used  topically for treatment of hair loss (alopecia androgenetica) (hereditary hair loss) in men and women by preventing hair loss and promoting hair regrowth.

How it works

Dilminox 5 mg tablet works by relaxing blood vessels of the body so that blood passes through them more easily. This helps to lower resistance to blood flow and thus lower blood pressure. Dilminox 5 mg tablet stimulates hair growth in early and moderate stages of hereditary hair loss (alopecia androgenetica) by increasing the diameter of the hair shaft, stimulation and prolongation of growing phase of hair follicle (anagen). Being a peripheral vasodilator, Dilminox 5 mg tablet enhances microcirculation to hair follicles thereby stimulating the growth.
