Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of abdominal pain.
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Loss of appetite.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine with a light meal, if you are having acidity and gastritis after taking this medication
Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Famotidine which relieve abdominal pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by preventing the formation of chemicals responsible for fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling). Famotidine is an H2 blocker (type of antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to get relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.

Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Diclosef 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
