  • Inform your doctor if you have any liver problems, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, history of fits (seizures), or stomach ulcers (peptic ulcers).
  • Tell your doctor if you are a smoker or have history of smoking or alcohol consumption.
  • Use with caution if you are an elderly patient or have heart problems or hypoxemia (a condition related to very low oxygen levels in blood).
  • Contact your doctor immediately if you experience worsening of symptoms of asthma.

  • Do not take guaifenesin if you are pregnant or breast feeding unless it is advised by your doctor.
  • Use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle; discard after 4 weeks of opening even if not used (consult your pharmacist for the procedure to dispose).
