This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Clavora Cream is a combination of five medicines: Silver Sulfadiazine, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Aloe Barbadensis, Allantoin and Vitamin E. Silver Sulfadiazine is an antibiotic. It stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a vitamin required for bacterial multiplication. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant which effectively cleans out cuts, wounds and burns to prevent infection. Aloe Barbadensis is a plant, extracts of which restore moisture so that the skin feels hydrated and refreshed. Allantoin further moisturizes skin and relieves minor irritations. Vitamin E promotes healing.
Clavora Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

It is not known whether Clavora Cream alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Clavora Cream is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Clavora Cream may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
