How to use Cefrine Tablet DT

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Cefrine 125mg/20mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Cefrine Tablet DT works

Cefrine 125mg/20mg Tablet DT is a combination of two medicines: Cefdinir and Lactobacillus. Cefdinir is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Cefrine 125mg/20mg Tablet DT may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy

Lactation
SAFE
Cefrine 125mg/20mg Tablet DT is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Driving
Cefrine 125mg/20mg Tablet DT may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION

Liver
