Cefix 100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
. It is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, ear, bone, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery.
Side Effects of Cefix are Vomiting, Nausea, Stomach pain, Indigestion, Diarrhoea.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cefix 100 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Cefix 100 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.
