How to use Bigomet M Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bigomet M 500 mg/750 mcg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Bigomet M 500 mg/750 mcg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.

How Bigomet M Tablet works

Bigomet M 500 mg/750 mcg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and methylcobalamin which treat diabetes. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body, and allows better use of existing insulin. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking metformin with alcohol can cause lactic acidosis and you may experience malaise, respiratory distress, slow or irregular heartbeat, sleepiness, stomach upset, or other unusual symptoms.
Pregnancy
