Uses of Azifine Suspension

Azifine 200mg/5ml Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye, conjunctivitis, bacterial infections and typhoid fever. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Azifine Suspension

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Azifine 200mg/5ml Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Azifine 200mg/5ml Suspension is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food.

  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
  • Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
