Azicare 250mg tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and typhoid fever.
It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use AZICARE TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Azicare 250mg tablet at a fixed time.

How AZICARE TABLET works

Azicare 250mg tablet is an antibiotic. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Expert advice for AZICARE TABLET

  • Take Azithromycin only when prescribed by your doctor
  • Azithromycin can be taken with or without food
  • Do not take aluminum and magnesium containing antacids with Azithromycin. It should be taken one hour before or two hours after taking antacids
  • Azithromycin commonly causes nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Contact your doctor immediately in case you experience any allergic reaction like severe skin rash while taking Azithromycin
