How Azelast Spray works

Azelast 0.1% Spray is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

The drug may cause dizziness or drowziness. Be careful while driving or performing activities that require alertness. Do not start or continue the azelastine and consult your doctor:
  • If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to azelastine or any of the other ingredients of azelastine.
  • If you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Do not use contact lenses when applying azelastine solution in the eye. Patient should be instructed to use azelastine nasal spray only as prescribed The bottle should be shaken gently before use for about 5 seconds by tilting it upwards and downwards and the protective cap be removed afterwards After using the spray tip wipe the tip and replace the protective cap.

Missed Dosageuses
