Overview

Introduction

Atmozeth CF Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the infection by killing the microorganisms and prevents further infections.

Atmozeth CF Tablet is a prescription medicine. It can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. A missed dose should be taken as soon as you remember. The course of treatment should be completed.

Some of the side effects of Atmozeth CF Tablet are nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, etc. You may also feel dizzy, thus it is advised not to drive or operate machinery. To overcome dizziness you should drink plenty of fluid. If any of the side effects get aggravated, contact your doctor immediately. In cases of severe liver or kidney disease, consult your doctor before you start with the treatment.

How Atmozeth CF Tablet works

Atmozeth CF Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Q. What is Atmozeth CF used for?

Atmozeth CF is a fixed-dose combination of two antibiotics and is used to treat patients with bacterial infections. Cefixime is used to treat infections of the ear, lung, throat and urinary tract. Azithromycin is useful in the treatment of ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveler's diarrhea (loose stools and stomach cramps while traveling). Together they can be used to treat infections of the upper respiratory tract (typhoid and pneumonia), urinary tract and sexually transmitted diseases.

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). A patient may get this disease after having oral, vaginal or anal sex. Many patients with gonorrhea do not have any symptoms. Q. How many days does it take to recover from typhoid?

Typhoid takes around seven and fourteen days to get cured. However, its duration can be as short as three days, or as long as 30 days. If left untreated, illness usually lasts for three to four weeks, but may be longer in a small number of cases. Symptoms vary from mild to severe to life-threatening.
