Simethicone(125 mg)


Simethicone is used to relieve painful pressure, hiccups, bloating and fullness caused by excess gas in the stomach and intestines in adults as well as in children.

How it works

Simethicone belongs to class of medications called surface active substances. It is an antifoaming agents and works by acting on inner lining of intestine and allowing gas bubbles to come together more easily helping to release trapped wind.

Cisapride is used in adults in the treatment of night-time heartburn that occurs when stomach contents reflux in to the food pipe (gastro esophageal reflux disease [GERD]).

How it works

Cisapride is a prokinetic drug which promotes forward flow of stomach contents including stomach acid and prevents their reflux into the food pipe thereby preventing heartburn.
