It is better to take Alfoo 10 mg tablet with food.
Taking alfuzosin with alcohol can lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Uses

Alfoo 10 mg tablet is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

How it works

Alfoo 10 mg tablet works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily.

  • Alfuzosin tablets should be swallowed whole just before bedtime.
  • Do not take alfuzosin while driving as it may cause dizziness or fainting.
  • If you are undergoing cataract surgery, inform your doctor before surgery that you are using or have previously used alfuzosin.
  • If you suffer from drop in blood pressure when getting up from lying position, don’t get up until the symptoms disappear.
  • Alfuzosin may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting, especially when you get up too quickly from a lying position. This is more common when you first start taking alfuzosin. To avoid this problem, get out of bed slowly, resting your feet on the floor for a few minutes before standing up
