Introduction

ADRENALIN INFUSION is used in the treatment of life-threatening emergencies like severe allergic reaction and cardiac arrest. It rapidly relieves breathlessness and wheezing by relaxing the airways. It also stimulates the heart and increases the blood pressure.

ADRENALIN INFUSION also improves the swelling of face and tongue and hives seen in allergic reaction. It is given under the supervision of a doctor. Continuous monitoring of patient is required while using this medicine. Side effects like palpitations, restlessness and headache may be seen in some patients.

How Adrenalin Infusion works

Adrenaline/Epinephrine is an alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist. It relaxes muscles in your lungs and relieves spasm, wheezing, and shortness of breath that occurs during a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).
