Uses

Acyclovir tablet dt is used in the treatment of herpes labialis (sores around the border of the lips), genital herpes infection, chickenpox and herpes zoster (painful skin rash around the nerves of chest and back)

How it works

Acyclovir tablet dt is an antiviral drug and belongs to class called synthetic nucleoside analogues. It works by blocking the process by which the virus grows and multiplies. Acyclovir tablet dt thus stops the virus from spreading in the body.
