    Actide injection uses

    Actide 50mcg injection is used in the treatment of acromegaly and bleeding esophageal varices.

    How actide injection works

    Actide 50mcg injection blocks the effects of certain natural hormones in the body such as serotonin and growth hormone. It also lowers the bleeding from the food pipe by constricting (narrowing) the blood vessels.

    Common side effects of actide injection

    Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain, Nausea, Constipation, Flatulence, Headache, Increased glucose level in blood, Gallstones, Injection site reaction.
