Uses

Haemophilus Influenzae Type B Capsular Polysaccharide is used to prevent haemophilus influenzae type b disease.

How it works

Haemophilus influenzae type B capsular polysaccharide induce anti-PRP antibodies above the level known to be protective against invasive disease due to Haemophilus influenzae type B. An anti-PRP antibody titre ? 0.15 mcg/mL correlates with immediate protection against Hib infection and ? 1.0 mcg/mL correlates with long term protection.

Allergic reaction, Diarrhoea, Fever, Injection site pain, Injection site swelling, Loss of appetite, Restlessness, Skin redness, Unusual crying, Vomiting
