Accept-XL Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of arthralgia (joint pain). It helps in the formation of soft tissue around the joints leading to joint repair. It also reduces friction in the joints and also relieves pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis.
Accept-XL Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
Using this medicine may cause common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, and heartburn. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

Arthralgia is a condition with pain and stiffness in the joints that causes difficulty in movement. Accept-XL Tablet helps in reducing this pain and stiffness. It also reduces swelling in the joints. Altogether, it helps in easy movement. Accept-XL Tablet if taken at the start of symptoms of arthralgia might prevent further damage of the joints. This will help you do your daily activities more easily and thus improve your quality of life. Accept-XL Tablet should be taken at the same time each day to get maximum benefits. How to use Accept-XL Tablet

How Accept-XL Tablet works
Accept-XL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Diacerein which relieve muscle and joint pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator which blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps in the building of cartilage (the soft connective tissue in the bones near the joints) in the body.

Driving

Accept-XL Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Accept-XL Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Accept-XL Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Accept-XL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
