Mukhya Mantri Jeevan Raksha Kosh Scheme

This scheme is meant for providing financial assistance to the general public other than the people under BPL, referred by state medical board for treatment outside the state

How?

Referred by state medical board for treatment outside the state

Where?

The scheme provides financial assistance for getting treatment outside state not in Sikkim.

The Hospitals empanelled by Health Department are as under:

Beneficiary is to provide referral certificate from state medical board of STNM hospital and attested copies of Sikkim certificate/certificate of identification from the authority to avail facility under the scheme

INR 20,000/- up to INR 2, 00,000/-

Sikkim State Illness Assistance Fund

This scheme is meant for providing financial assistance to people under BPL, referred for treatment outside the state

Where?

All government hospitals and institutions

Beneficiary is to submit BPL certificate issued by Department of Economics, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation to avail this facility

Financial assistance of up to INR 1.5 lakh is provided in the form of cashless treatment facility i.e. payment is made directly to the hospital by the state governement. Financial assistance beyond INR 1.5 lakh will be provided bythe central government.
