That makes you feel worse about yourself. Set daily goals for yourself, like going for a walk, meeting a friend, finishing an assignment or reading a book<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Watch what you eat<\/strong>: If depression tends to make you overeat, getting in control of your eating will help you feel better. Replace all the junk food with healthy foods like whole grains, fruits, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1mg.com\/categories\/protein-supplements-222\">proteins<\/a>, vegetables<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get enough sleep: <\/strong>Depression can make it hard to get enough sleep. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Take all the distractions out of your bedroom (phone, computer and no TV)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start an exercise plan: <\/strong>Exercise does wonders to your mind and body. Exercise helps release endorphins that help fight stress and depression. Going for \u00a030 minute walks 4-5 times a week can help you a lot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fight back negative thoughts: <\/strong>When you&#8217;re depressed, you leap to the worst possible conclusions. Use logic as a natural depression treatment. It takes practice, but in time you can beat back those negative thoughts before they get out of control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do something new<\/strong>. When you\u2019re depressed you seem to be stuck in a zone. . Push yourself to do something different. Trying something new alters the levels of dopamine (a brain chemical), which is associated with pleasure, enjoyment, and learning<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seek help from your doctor and\/or a counselor: <\/strong>Admit that you need help and consult a doctor.
