Choose indoor options when the weather is extreme<\/li>\n<li>Drink <strong>plenty of water<\/strong> before, during, and after activity to stay hydrated<\/li>\n<li>Always carry a <strong>source of\u00a0carbohydrate<\/strong>with you so you\u2019ll be ready to treat low\u00a0blood glucose<\/li>\n<li>Activities should be energizing but not overly difficult<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wear athletic shoes<\/strong> that are in good shape and are the right type for your activity<\/li>\n<li>Try to <strong>exercise at the same time every da<\/strong>y for the same duration.
