An antibiotic belonging to this category can be used to treat multiple infections such as an ear infection, sinus infection and throat infection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Narrow-spectrum antibiotics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> work on specific types of bacteria.
