In a saucepan, heat one cup of water. Once boiling, add ½ tsp of mulethi powder or a small stick of mulethi root. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes. Pour into a cup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove all solids. Enjoy warmed!

If you consume excessive amounts of mulethi, it may raise blood pressure or cause water retention. Therefore, you mustn't exceed the recommended daily dose of mulethi water, and speak with your physician if you are pregnant or have a history of hypertension.
