Here are five easy-to-follow postures of yoga for helping to relax the mind and to restore mental clarity.

When you sit calmly and focus on your breath, it will assist in calming your mind and allowing you to concentrate better. This posture should be performed several times per day for 2-3 minutes each time.

Sukhasana (Easy Pose)

Standing tall on one leg helps you improve your ability to focus, maintain stability and coordinate your mind and body.

Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

This pose allows blood to flow to the brain and helps reduce the lack of clarity in your head by restoring mental clarity.

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Dog)

Lotus Pose is the most widely used position for meditation. In this position your body and mind become in sync with a sense of relaxation, increased awareness and concentration. When you use slow, controlled breathing while meditating, you enhance mental clarity.

Padmasana (Lotus Pose)

This pose allows your body's nervous system to relax, release tension and restore mental clarity, especially after a long day of work or working on a computer.
