Have you experienced that nauseous sense when you wake? It's a common reality, but if you're been feeling nauseous during the mornings more than ever, it could indicate that you've got some liver issues.

The liver is such an important organ, because it process toxic blood, makes bile for digestion, breaks down and releases sugar, stores vitamins such as A, D, E, and K, and more.

Consistent morning nausea or vomiting (even without any other signs and symptoms) is a red flag for fatty liver, some type of hepatitis or some type of liver dysfunction.

The early signs of liver issues can also show itself as fatigue or low appetite or even weight change or weakness—nothing that people don't wake up within the morning and complain about!

If you wake up with a dull ache under your right rib cage or a fullness in the morning, it can indicate some liver inflammation or at the very least, liver enlargement and possibly nausea.

If you recognize any change in your urine or stool colourization; pale, dark, or even tarry stools, bile flow may be impeded, which is known to have liver problems.

If morning nausea and liver-related symptoms persist, schedule a check-up. Blood tests and scans may catch early liver issues before you progress to an acute or chronic disease.

Making sure you stay well hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and limit alcohol will support liver health. If your symptoms persist, please see your doctor for consultation.
