Ingredients such as chutneys, curd, chopped fruit and other moist ingredients are more likely to be contaminated during monsoons. Eating any of them will increase your risk of developing a bacterial infection like E. coli or diarrhea.

Uncovered buns, raw cut veggies and mayonnaise make for great cultures for microbes in very humid air. Avoid unrefrigerated buns and street version burger that are not freshly made whenever possible to avoid sickness.

Chinese fast food is typically made in bulk and stored unrefrigerated whenever possible. Noodles sitting out during monsoon can grow tons of fungus in them and harmful bacteria that can cause stomach infections and food poisoning.

Cheese and other varieties of dairy toppings have a much shorter shelf-life in wet and humid weather. Additionally, local eateries may have issues while refrigerating so warm pizza can translate into potential digestive issues for your evening plans.
