Not getting enough sleep has been linked to day-to-day memory loss. Prioritize getting adequate restful sleep. Adults should routinely get 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night.

Similar to how physical activity helps you stay in shape, mental exercises help you stay in shape and avoid memory loss. Try reading, puzzles, crosswords, and other challenging mental activities.
