Using AC wrong during monsoon can cause more harm than good. Avoid these 5 mistakes:

Monsoon equals to moisture. Your AC works harder to dry the air. Switch to “dry mode", it reduces humidity without over cooling and cuts your electricity bill too.

Moisture settles inside your AC. Dirty filters = mold, musty smells, and sneezes. Clean them every 2 weeks, it's a 5-minute fix with big benefits.

Power cuts and voltage drops are common in monsoon. Without a stabilizer or surge protector, one power fluctuation can damage your AC permanently.

Rain and standing water can rust or clog the outdoor unit. Keep it covered and check it after heavy showers to prevent lasting damage.

It’s already damp and cool outside. Setting your AC to 18°C can cause sore throats and body aches. Keep it between 24–26°C and use a fan for airflow.
