Each pregnancy is unique. What may be safe for one woman may not be for another, depending on health, trimester, and nutritional needs.

During pregnancy, your body needs steady nutrients that can support your baby's growth and maintain your own energy levels. Skipping meals can affect both.

Extended fasting may cause dehydration, low blood sugar, dizziness, or reduced foetal movement – especially if you are in your early stages of pregnancy.

If you do choose to fast, drink enough fluids like water, coconut water, or milk. Dehydration can raise the risk of preterm contractions or urinary infections.

Choose nutrient-dense foods for pre-fast meals, like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and proteins, or have fruits in short intervals, as it can keep your energy stable.
