In the winter, your skin might lose moisture, which can make it dry, flaky, and irritated. But you don't always need to spend a lot of money on creams to correct it. A simple body lotion you make at home can keep your skin soft and bright all winter. Here's how to do it.

Shea butter or cocoa butter should be your base. They keep winter skin supple for hours by deeply hydrating and protecting it.

Add coconut oil, almond oil, or olive oil to the mix. These oils keep moisture in and make the skin look healthy and natural.

Put in 1 to 2 drops of vitamin E oil. It helps fix dry spots, makes skin less harsh, and keeps it smooth for longer.

Aloe vera gel calms irritation and stops cold air from making your skin red or itchy. It perfectly balances the dense oils.

Add oils and aloe to the butter when it has warmed up a little. Then, beat till smooth. Put it in a clean jar and use it after you shower when your skin is still wet.

Don't use perfumes or fake scents. In the winter, they make everything dry and itchy. Add a drop of lavender or rose oil if you need to.
