How to hydrate without overhydrating

Yes, you can drink too much water. While hydration is essential, overhydration (aka water intoxication) can dilute electrolytes and harm your body.

Your body is smart. Thirst is a built-in cue—don’t ignore it, and don’t force water when you’re not thirsty.

Listen to Your Thirst
