From rain to relief:  5 herbs to brew in your chai or kadha

Enhances immunity and helps combat colds & coughs problems. To prepare chai or kadha, add 4–5 fresh tulsi leaves while boiling water. For kadha, combine with black pepper & ginger for an extra flavor.

Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, it aids digestion and alleviates nausea. Crush a 1-inch piece of ginger and boil it with tea leaves or other kadha ingredients. It pairs well with tulsi, cinnamon, and a hint of honey.

Helps regulate blood sugar, warms the body, and fights infections. Add a small stick to boiling water with your tea or kadha. For added warmth on rainy days, combine it with clove and ginger.

Improves nutrient absorption and clears sinuses. Use 4–5 crushed peppercorns in kadha. Mix with tulsi, ginger, and cinnamon for a powerful blend during the monsoon.

Black Pepper

Acts as a natural antibiotic, has anti-inflammatory properties, and boosts immunity. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to kadha after boiling, along with a dash of black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption.

Boil 2 cups of water with: - Tulsi leaves - Crushed ginger - Cinnamon stick - Black pepper - A pinch of turmeric Simmer for 10 minutes, strain, and enjoy warm
