An easy and effective technique to reduce eye strain during extended screen time is to follow the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, take 20 seconds to look at somewhere 20 feet away.

Maintaining a healthy distance from the screen is important to reduce the strain on your eyes. Keep the screen at arm’s length and ensure the screen is at or slightly below eye level.

Blinking is necessary to lubricate the eyes, preventing dryness and irritation. When you stare at a screen, you blink less, resulting in dry eyes.  To keep your eyes pleasant and moist, remind yourself to blink frequently.
