Whether it is for work or leisure, being glued to the screen for long hours takes a toll on our eyes. So here are some simple eye exercises that can help improve your vision.

Take a seat comfortably and slowly raise your gaze to the ceiling. Next, roll your eyes slowly clockwise for a few seconds, then counterclockwise, without moving your head. Then, repeat a few times.

Place your palms over your closed eyes, making sure no light enters them. Allow the warmth to soothe your eyes for five to ten minutes. This practice helps to relax your eyes and relieve stress.

Focus on your thumb for 15 seconds while holding it 10 inches away from your face. Then, look at an item 20 feet away and concentrate for another 15 seconds. Do this exercise multiple times.

Take a 20-second break every 20 minutes and focus on something 20 feet away. This simple rule can improve eye health, particularly for people who spend a lot of time in front of digital devices.

Focus on the tip of a pencil held at arm's length, then slowly move it in the direction of your nose. If it doubles, stop and move it back. Repeat to develop focus and eye coordination.
