Energy drinks usually have a lot of sugar or sweeteners.  That amount of sugar can cause blood sugar levels to rise quickly, which can result in insulin resistance.

Energy drinks with a high caffeine content enhance urine output. As a result, the more you drink, the more you pee, which can potentially dehydrate you.

High energy drink consumption can erode enamel, a strong material that shields the rest of your teeth. This increases the risk of problems like tooth decay and cavities.

Energy drinks with high caffeine content may cause you to feel jittery, anxious, and restless. Over time, regular consumption may impair emotional well-being and lead to mood swings.
